Finding Justice

November 11 at 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Lecture with Roland Rothenbucher –

“Justice in the life and conduct of the State is possible only as first it resides in the hearts and souls of the citizens.”
Plato

Economic justice, social justice, environmental justice: there is hardly a sphere of life where the question of justice has not been raised. In the face of mounting instances of agitation and concern caused by local, national and global injustice, how are we to act? How can we live more justly? How can we find justice?

Following the lead of Plato, who stated that in reality the true source of justice can only be found by turning within, we will endeavor to discover the meaning of justice for immediate application in life. By way of maxims, stories, and philosophical statements from the wisdom tradition, we will consider the conditions necessary for true justice to arise.

Join us as we consider the words of the wise in our quest to discover and find justice.

Tickets @ $25.00, which includes light refreshments, are available through the Registration Office in the building or on line by clicking here.
