Introductory Wednesday 3:00pm Eastern – this class will start Wednesday January 18, 2012 beginning at 8:00pm GMT / 9:00pm CET / 10:00pm EET / 3:00pm Eastern / Noon Pacific.

Introductory Thursday 9:00pm Eastern / 6:00pm Pacific – this class will start Thursday January 19, 2012 beginning at 9:00pm Eastern / 8:00pm Central / 7:00pm Mountain / 6:00pm Pacific.

Due to the enormous interest in attending an online (Distance Learning) session of the Introductory Course at the School of Practical Philosophy, additional classes are being opened up in advance of the next term.  Due to the nature of the online classroom, ‘seating’ will be limited to 14 students per class.

If you find yourself closed out of the class, please write to DL@philosophyworks.org and then we will contact you – either about additional classes or ask you to wait until the next term -- in which case we ask your understanding.

CONTINUING CLASSES

• Part 1B Monday 10:00pm Eastern –  this class will start Monday January 16, 2012 beginning at 10:00pm Eastern/7:00pm Pacific.  Pre-requisite: completion of the Introductory Course.
   
• Part 1B Wednesday 3:00pm Eastern –  this class will start Wednesday January 18, 2012 beginning at 3:00pm Eastern/ noon Pacific / 8:00pm GMT / 9:00pm CET.  Pre-requisite: completion of the Introductory Course.
   
• Part 3 Monday 8:30pm Eastern –  this class will start Monday January 9, 2012 beginning at 8:30pm Eastern/5:30pm Pacific.  Pre-requisite: completion of the Part 2 / 2B.
   
• Part 5B Wednesday 8:30pm Eastern–  this class will start Wednesday January 11, 2012 beginning at 8:30pm Eastern/5:30pm Pacific.  Pre-requisite: completion of the Part 5.
   
• Intermediate Monday – this class will start Monday January 9, 2012 beginning at 3:00pm Eastern / 8:00pm GMT / 9:00pm CET / 10:00pm EET / Noon Pacific.  Pre-requisite: please write to DL@philosophyworks.org.
   
• Preparatory 7:00pm GMT -- this class will start January 10, 2012 beginning at 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET.  Pre-requisite: please write to DL@philosophyworks.org
   
• Senior Tuesday 9:30pmEastern – this class will start Tuesday January 10, 2012 beginning at 9:30pm Eastern/6:30pm Pacific.  Pre-requisite: please write to DL@philosophyworks.org.

Once you register, you will be sent additional instructions with a password to get into the classroom.  In addition, for new online students as part of those instructions, we will work with you to schedule a one-on-one session prior to the class.  This one-on-one is mandatory and is set up to help checkout your gear -- assure that you are audible and visible -- and also to get you comfortable with navigating the online classroom. 

For new online students, we must get your registration by the deadline (January 13) so that we have sufficient time to schedule the one-on-one session prior to the class date.  These sessions take about 20-30 minutes to provide an orientation to the classroom before your first class, however, as it may also involve helping with the equipment -- an hour will be scheduled.  Due to the nature of this limited-seating class, there is no refund available if you withdraw after the deadline or fail to attend an agreed upon one-on-one session without providing advance notice.
